Our Business Philosophy
How many times in a year are your children photographed?
In addition to school photographs what about soccer, baseball, football, hockey, rugby, martial arts etc., etc....? It can become very expensive by the end of the year. With Home Studio Photo, you will save between 30% to 60% compared to the competition. How is this possible? READ ON!
Most photographers ONLY take the photographs and leave the rest to others. Home Studio Photo believes that in order to do the job right you DO THE WORK YOURSELF! We cut, keyhole and bevel the wood plaques...create, print and mount the background templates...make the trading cards...mount the photos and laminate the plaques OURSELVES! There are no "outside" profit margins to be accounted for.
Our Company
As a photographer for over thirty years, Edward Thurston was never happy with what was offered the "paying public" to show off their future pro athlete children and to commemorate milestones in their lives along the way. The plaques lacked originality and the prices were way too high! "Enough is enough" he said, and created Home Studio Photo. That was in 1986, yes HSM Photo has been around for almost a quarter of a century, we must be doing something right!!
Our Goal
To remain current, original, competitive and loyal to our current and future client base.
Some of our customers have been with us since the beginning and some for the last fifteen years. We give 100% to all of our clients, no matter how long they have been with us or how big or small the order. Everyone is important and dealt with personally.
We also believe in giving back to the community as evidenced by our volunteer work with the International Cup, Kids Playing for Kids who are heading into their 5th annual event. Their goal is to raise money for the Montreal Children's Hospital and Hopital Sainte-Justine and we have been with them since the beginning. Since we believe in the Dreamer, we have also volunteered to join the Election Committee for Sam Gabbay as Councilman for Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
